We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new website. The re-design has been some time in the making, and we’re looking forward to becoming more interactive online, and sharing our business through this blog, our case studies, social media channels and videos.

Low Carbon Futures have always been proud of our passion and dedication for the challenges of commercial environmental management. Recent months have seen some valuable discussions about our future and what we can offer the business community, so this website is part of an exciting new strategy and positioning for us.

With an increasing number of businesses starting to tackle energy and environmental issues, in the coming months we’ll be using our expertise in the sector to provide some practical and insightful material for businesses both online and at events. You can sign up to our newsletter using the link in the footer below to receive monthly updates which will include industry information, and advice about saving energy and improving your environmental credentials. In the spirit of improving our interactivity, any comments, feedback or suggestions would be very well received – just email Charlotte or comment below.

We’re also pleased to announce that Andy McKenzie, our Senior Environmental Consultant and Business Development Manager, has been shortlisted for an Unlocking Cornish Potential award for ‘Contribution to the Knowledge Economy through Innovation’ in recognition of his work in the Environmental sector. It’s an honour to be shortlisted alongside some of Cornwall’s finest talent, and we’d like to extend our congratulations out to the other shortlisted graduates.

2012 is well underway, and we’re looking forward to seeing more of you over the coming year, and beyond.

Testimonials

  • The advice that Low Carbon Futures gave us when we were starting to create our Environmental Management System was invaluable. Andy McKenzie gained a good understanding of our business and what we were trying to achieve, and was able to tailor his support accordingly. As a result we will be in a position to go for our ISO14001 accreditation in the next couple of months.

  • “I knew that becoming more energy efficient is a simple way to reduce operating costs and your carbon footprint, but I was surprised by the financial savings that can be made just by using energy more intelligently.  This workshop provided a fantastic introduction to energy management and gave me the tools I needed to move forward.”

    John James, CoaST
  • “The Energy and Utility Management workshop was very concise, informative and relevant to my job.  Andy McKenzie did an excellent job at helping me to relate energy management to the business model here at The Hotel & Extreme Academy and identify how we can further improve the environmental sustainability of our operations while at the same time reducing our operating costs.”
