Carbon Footprinting and Management

Carbon Footprinting

It’s becoming increasingly important for companies to measure their carbon footprint. The Government has set a legally binding carbon reduction commitment, and legislation due in 2012 will most likely require more businesses to report their carbon emissions. Large UK businesses are already required to measure and report their carbon footprints, and most are now encouraging their supply chain to do the same.

Measuring your carbon footprint allows you to set a baseline, so that you can begin to think about carbon reduction and set some key objectives. We can assess your current carbon footprint, identify carbon reduction opportunities and help you implement these. By setting an initial baseline, you’ll be able to measure what you’ve achieved and celebrate when you reach your targets.

Accepting and promoting the shift to a low carbon economy now means your business will be ahead of the game, making it much easier for you to manage future legal requirements.

Carbon Management Strategy

Our extensive experience of working with businesses on Carbon Management means we can tailor a bespoke Carbon Management strategy for your organisation. This will enable your to effectively manage your carbon emissions, and means you will also be reducing your energy usage, streamlining your resources, and reducing expenditure.

We can identify low and no cost measures to reduce your carbon emissions, as well as larger long-term changes to significantly reduce your organisation’s emissions and assist you in the transformation to becoming a low carbon business.

The Carbon Management strategy will be unique to your organisation, and we will advise and guide you in the following areas of Carbon Management:

  • Measuring and reporting a baseline of your current carbon emissions
