Energy Performance Certification (EPC)

All buildings which are built, let or sold now require an Energy Performance Certificate.

Commercial energy performance certificates

The certificate will indicate the energy efficiency of a business on a scale of A++ to G, giving potential tenants and purchasers important information with which to make an informed decision about buying or renting a property.

Low Carbon Futures’ domestic and commercial EPC assessors are also experienced energy and environmental consultants who can give you advice about improving your rating as part of our service.

We will take into account the construction, age, lighting and heating systems of the building, amongst other things, to provide you with an accurate indicator of the energy performance of your building.

If you would like to talk to us about getting an Energy Performance Certificate for your building, contact us now.

Testimonials

  • The advice that Low Carbon Futures gave us when we were starting to create our Environmental Management System was invaluable. Andy McKenzie gained a good understanding of our business and what we were trying to achieve, and was able to tailor his support accordingly. As a result we will be in a position to go for our ISO14001 accreditation in the next couple of months.

  • “I knew that becoming more energy efficient is a simple way to reduce operating costs and your carbon footprint, but I was surprised by the financial savings that can be made just by using energy more intelligently.  This workshop provided a fantastic introduction to energy management and gave me the tools I needed to move forward.”

    John James, CoaST
  • “The Energy and Utility Management workshop was very concise, informative and relevant to my job.  Andy McKenzie did an excellent job at helping me to relate energy management to the business model here at The Hotel & Extreme Academy and identify how we can further improve the environmental sustainability of our operations while at the same time reducing our operating costs.”
