Get Smart and Save

Low Carbon Futures new ‘Get Smart and Save’ service combines, the installation of a smart meter with an energy saving programme to enable your business to identify energy, cost and carbon savings.

Metering equipment on its own does not save energy. It is the actions taken as a result of installing and monitoring meters that can achieve quantifiable energy savings.

Our ‘Get Smart and Save’ service offers businesses the ability to gain a greater understanding of how they currently use energy and receive tailor-made advice on what they can do to reduce their electricity consumption and get the most competitive tariffs. You may even be eligible to take advantage of upto 75 percent discount on this service by accessing additional funding from Business Link.

There are three levels of service that Low Carbon Futures can offer:

  • Data Only: installation of a meter(s), a tariff reduction quotation and quarterly summary reports for three years.
  • Data and Advice: installation of a meter(s), a tariff reduction quotation and quarterly summary reports for three years along with a brief energy saving analysis report after the first three months and additional advice during the first year, typically provided over the phone or via email.
  • Data and Energy Management Program: installation of a meter(s), a tariff reduction quotation and quarterly summary reports for three years. An energy management programme after your meter(s) has been installed for three months, plus additional support including a detailed energy audit and/or inhouse training.
