Renewable Energy Site Assessment
This is the first step to take if you are interested in getting renewable or low carbon technologies installed in your business. One of Low Carbon Futures experienced renewable energy assessors will visit your organisation and explore the opportunities.
The assessor will provide you with a short report which will include:
- A basic analysis of your organizations energy needs
- A review of the appropriateness of all principle forms of renewable energy and low carbon technologies
- A general cost estimate for the installation of a system and the availability of grants
- The next steps you need to take to make your plans a reality
Renewable Energy Feasibility Study
Low Carbon Solutions are experts in delivering feasibility studies and are therefore able to provide comprehensive feasibility studies to ensure your renewable energy project is fully evaluated before you start the project.
As part of this service we will:
- Undertake a comprehensive energy and CO2 emissions appraisal
- Take account of the location, orientation, size, energy demand, wind speeds etc for the particular site
- Undertake a resource assessment
- Assessment of the technical, environmental and planning constraints of the site
- Suggest suitable local installers
Woodfuels / Biomass Site Assessments
Low Carbon Futures hold specific accreditations to enable us to assess the appropriateness of using biomass heating system at a site. Issues to consider are, economical variability (pay-back periods) and feasibility, for example the supply of biomass fuel sources.
